Daniel Kitmanyen

Outdoor Instructor Intern

Daniel Kitmanyen is an avid nature enjoyer who first found love for the outdoors in his youth. He would be constantly outside playing with the crickets, snails and other critters he’d find. Growing up his passion for caring about nature grew as he was exposed to more environmentally conscious classes. He has pursued this passion through working at Riverfront Recapture in West Hartford Connecticut,  maintaining parks in the area through flood season. He has also spent time volunteering at the Environmental Learning Centers of Connecticut, where he worked in a sustainable garden and continued to work in environmental stewardship. He now pursues an Environmental Science degree at Endicott College in hopes to educate others on nature and the importance of caring for our earth. He enjoys birding, hiking and going to the beach.
