Kristen St.Cyr

Director of Operations & Programming

Kristen grew up in the Gulf South, where her passion for environmental education and equity began through afterschool and weekend volunteer work focused on environmental and outdoor programming. She later attended Louisiana State University, where she deepened her interest in equity and representation within environmental and outdoor spaces. While at LSU, Kristen worked at the university’s recreation center, where she led outdoor classes, trips, and clinics for both youth and adults—helping make outdoor recreation more accessible to all. She earned a degree in English with a special interest in African and African American Studies.

After college, Kristen moved to Boston to further pursue her commitment to outdoor recreation and education. She previously served as Program Manager at a local rock climbing gym, where she developed and led youth programs focused on climbing, outdoor skills, and personal growth. Kristen is dedicated to creating inclusive and welcoming outdoor spaces. She continues to grow as a mentor and advocate while supporting the recreation and education needs of youth across the Greater Boston area.
