Elevate Youth families cook cozy and nutritious recipes for Winter E.A.T. Classes!

All of the skiing and physical activity we’ve done this winter made us hungry, lucky for us we held 2 virtual cooking classes for youth and families as part of our E.A.T. initiative in January and February.  Many of our families joined Chef Tamika on a Zoom call to learn how to cook some delicious recipes!  During January, our families learned how to cook a warm and cozy three bean chili!  The recipe was great because everyone was able to put their own spin on it and add or take out ingredients based on personal tastes!  At the beginning of February, we learned how to make Asian inspired Lettuce Wraps, another quick and easy, yet hearty and nutritious meal

We are so grateful to Tamika for teaching us how to cook nourishing recipes for our bodies.  Thank you as well to the Daily Table for much of the food our families end up getting in their boxes.  Last but certainly not least, a huge thank you to Gay Crowley for donating so much of her own time to put together these incredible boxes of food that our families receive.  If you want to learn how to make either of these recipes and many others, you can find all of our E.A.T. classes here on our website! We hope to continue this wonderful program and be able to provide delicious recipes for our families!
